HELPFUL LOCAL CARPET FITTER BERKSHIRE
Hello, I am a Berkshire based 'One man band' Carpet Fitter / Carpet Layer working throughout Berkshire including the towns of Maidenhead, Bracknell, Reading, Wokingham, Windsor and all the surrounding areas.
I began my apprenticeship in the carpet fitting trade working with my father in the family business when I left school in 1974 and have continued to service the domestic carpet market ever since.
I do not sell carpets myself but I offer an independent labour only carpet fitting / carpet laying and carpet repair service to people who already have their own carpet, whether new or used and who need someone to help them with the fitting or laying of it.
Rather than advertising, most of my work comes from repeat customers [some of whom have been with me for over 20 years] and word of mouth. Therefore I do have to make sure that every customer is happy with my work.
FITTING NEW CARPETS

FITTING USED CARPETS
I specialize in carpet fitting / carpet laying and carpet repairs on customers existing fitted carpets that may need attention from a carpet fitter or carpet layer for one reason or another.
You may want to have an existing carpet re-fitted from one room to another, or perhaps have a carpet re-laid back into the room that it came from after taking it up for building/decorating works etc.
CARPET REPAIRS
I can help you with most types of carpet repairs, please see my “Carpet Repairs” page for more info. Common carpet repairs would include burns, patches and stains etc. Replacing carpet on worn stair treads is a common request.
Perhaps your fitted carpets are ‘wrinkled’ or ‘wavy’ and need to be stretched. For all of the above please see the “Carpet Stretching” page for more Information.
CARPET CLEANING
I also clean carpets. so if you are having an existing carpet stretched, re-laid or repaired then this would be the ideal time to have it cleaned and save upheaval later on.
